General Election Called

A general election has been called, and is to take place at the first opportunity. This is in response to growing inactivity and a decrease in members of Parliament. The decision was announced this evening by the President in Parliament.

Any citizen may stand for election, and the First Minister will be elected from the successful candidates. However, due to the President's role in choosing the number of Parliamentary seats, candidates are likely guaranteed a seat.
