For a full definition of the following offences, consult relevant legislation. Note that offences may additionally be tried in macronational courts, and if an act is not listed here, that does not constitute immunity to macronational prosecution or civil action for carrying it out.

Those offences marked with (H) are heightened offences, and shall be initially heard at the High Court of Justiciary.

  • Acting in a disorderly manner

  • Attempting to commit a criminal offence

  • Being an accessory to a criminal offence

  • Blackmail (H)

  • Coercion (H)

  • Contempt of court

  • Corruption (H)

  • Criminal damage

  • Cyber misconduct

  • Discrimination

  • Disrupting a public venue

  • Espionage (H)

  • Financial or economic misconduct (H)

  • Forgery

  • Fraud

  • Harassment

  • Criminal hatred

  • Intellectual property theft

  • Intimidation

  • Obstructing the course of justice

  • Perjury (H)

  • Possession of multiple identities (H)

  • Tampering (H)

  • Treason (H)

  • Unlicensed disclosure (exception made for lawful whistleblowing)

  • Verbal abuse

CIVIL OFFENCES

Note that a lawsuit may be brought both for a civil offence regardless of any sustained damages, or for sustained damages.
